Forget Swiss Bank numbers, here is a  Scam that is happening right in front of your eyes and you are voluntarily participating in it. Why? Because you are superstitious!

Does God Exist?

What does He/She look like?

Where does God stay?

Is Ram  God?

Is Jesus God?

Is Bhagwan Swaminarayan God?

Is Shri Krishna God?

Is Mahatma Gandhi God?

Is Mother Teresa God?

Is Bill Gates God?

Is Mayawati who is using taxpayers money to build her statues a God?

Is Narendra Modi who is using taxpayers money for his personal branding a God?

Is the Doctor performing your surgery a God?

God is an inner trust/belief in mysterious being that is unknown to all/uness by all. Who is God? How many Gods exists?  Is my God better than yours? If so, is my Lifestyle better than yours? If  God in America was great, why is China better economy than America? Why is God not taking care of economy and people’s lifestyles? Why is Japanese God been so cruel to them?

We try to find answers of our problems in God. – “some unknown”

Hindus worship 36 Crore Gods.  Let me state that again Hindus worship 36 crore Gods.

This is a business channel – so let us understand business behind God – “The God Economy”

Let us assume for sake of mathematics that there are 5000 Big God Brands in India and each God having on average 100 temples.   That will be 5,00,000 temples.

Each Temple on average gets  500 footfalls per day on average and on average person donates Rs. 1/day to temple (i.e Rs. 300/yr per family member)

Every Temple gets Rs. 1 * 500(footfalls) = Rs. 500 daily min i.e Rs. 15,000 per month. The Big temples get big donations.  Priest will just get Rs. 5000 of this. So Rs. 10,000 goes to temple management. (These are hypothetical numbers for sake of discussion).  Each temple has revenue of Rs. 1.8 Lakhs annually from above numbers. Let us take it as Rs 2 Lakhs for our calculation purpose.

When you extrapolate it to 5,00,000 temples you get a number  like Rs. 1,00,00,00,00,000 (i.e Rs. 10,000 crores).  Mind well this number is just too small. Real number is way more.. maybe govt or some journalist should do research and publish this.

But Rs. 10,000 Crores put in temples for what? Does God want money? Who is the beneficiary?

Temple economy is a business now. Lot of Ministers, Business people have Trusts which run Schools, Hospitals, Temples.  They put their black money in creating these assets under trusts and uneducated people are so much superstitious that they will put their hard earned money in temples.

Service to Mankind is Service to God. So why don’t one directly help people? Stop all funding to temples, put this money back in economy, build incubation centers, give grants so people can invent, show people what it means to invest in nation building rather than invest(donate) in temples which indirectly gets into pockets of other crooks.

If God really existed, there are millions of lawsuits in India where people take oath on “Holy Gita” and still say blatant lie. God should give a painful death to all these Liars – isn’t it?  They don’t fear God and live like king and you fear God and you end up suffering.

If Doctor was a God, why would you have same surgery be peformed again and again? Why would there be a racket of referrals? Why would you still pay for his price even if the patient succumbs in Hospital?

If God lives in temples, why do we have Pooja Rooms in our homes. We do not leave money in our Pooja rooms after every prayer but why do we leave Money when we go to temples? Why do we bid for "Arti Uchramni" to show off our financial strength that we can pay more than the next guy to put our stamp on God for that particular day? Can you/me own something that does not exist?

So what is your say on Temple economy in India?

Poll :

What should Indian government do on black money in temple economy?

Setting up Railway Networks goes back to British Rule in India.  In those days Railways were setup more for moving their goods across India. English people set up Broad Guage, Meter Guage and Narrow Gauge Lines.

Post independence, India has slowed down the laying of Railway Tracks but number of trains and commercial goods movement has increased.  Most of the development of tracks is in Broad Guage category.

Most of you would also have seen Trains running on Narrow/Meter Guage tracks. If they are passenger trains, you would have seen that almost that there is 70% vacancy in them.  And in these tracks there are hardly any goods movement. Now look at the costs of managing these tracks, trains:

1)      Train  Driver Salaries

2)      Railway Crossing Personnel  Salaries (90% of the time they are idle)

3)      Maintenance Contractors to maintain these tracks

4)      Station Masters, Peons, Ticketing Personnel, Station Cleaners etc

5)      Tracking/Signal Managers

There are tracks where only 2 passenger trains run(1 in  morning and 1 in evening) in entire day and nothing else.  These trains have only 10 travelers.  If they spend on average Rs. 50 per one side. You are looking at Rs. 1000 daily revenue from this (Rs. 30,000 per month).  Suppose there are 7 Stations(5 people at each station including station master, ticketing guy, etc), 15 Railway Crossings (1 person each), Maintenance Contractors(4 overall for the line),  4 Signal Managers, 1 Driver and Guard for the train. Suppose each have average salary of Rs. 5000 per month, you are looking at Rs. 3,00,000 expenses min per month. Plus costs to run the train i.e fuel, maintenance of engines, coaches, etc plus pension allocation, etc. Monthly expenses will easily cross over Rs. 5 Lakhs with income around just Rs. 30,000.

While everyone is working hard day-in day-out, this is waste of taxpayers money. Who would run a business if it has such financials/cash-flow?  Shouldn’t government stop these trains and convert these tracks in roadways ?

Poll :

Shall Narrow Guage/Meter Guage lines be removed and replaced with Roadways?

Gujarat is land of entrepreneurs. Government is promoting Gujarat as a top investment destination. Businesses are signing multi-billion dollar MoUs for projects. Media in India has gone crazy about development going on in Gujarat. But Gujarat which trailed to catch up on IT has never taken Internet and IT seriously. This has been reflected in business brands in Gujarat. It skillset in these companies either have been more doing routine operational stuff or the budgets are not there to really leverage the best solutions for internal usage and branding the company.

Today for any mid to large sized business, having a clean, modern looking website is absolute must.

Large corporates allocate huge marketing budgets and dedicated team to manage their website, content and promoting their brands in international market.

Podcast category: Legal Issues

No builder has been punished in Earthquake faulty construction. No Bank Director/Chairman has spent long time in Jail because of co-operative bank scam, everyone knows who was behing Haren Pandya murder but the delay has caused the culprit to cook up other story and find an escape route, laws are broken by employees and employers in coroporate sector. Small businesses do not pay taxes. Ministers and Babus - most of them are hugely having black money in real estate deals. Practically every big company listed in BSE/NSE can be brought to trail because of fake account statements.

India is a lawless society would be an understatement. Over 3 crore cases are pending in courts and you can easily  tenfold the number if we had something like Prepaid Legal Services which is there in US and if people are encouraged to file cases. India has only 13 judges per million while US has over 130. Mind well US has very tight rules and people are following it. Case disposal is speedy.

Lots of loopholes exist in our legal systems, which are exploited by people of criminal nature and lot of our legal counsels, because of which, at times the santity of the law made for that purpose is defied and a normal man does not get justice in time and the phrase of Justice Delayed is Justice Denied, purely fits in those types of cases prolonging in our courts, which are over burdened.

Justice delayed is justice denied. We have instances that the persons are convicted and after suffering the punishment are found to be innocent, this should not happen at all. Maxim of law says: "let hundreds of criminals be set free but not punished a single innocent."

No stringent laws in India. Entire Legal Acts needs a major overhaul.

Kasab, Raju, Raja, Kalmadi and likes have dared to run over the country and are having last laugh creating a mockery of all Indians and our legal system. We are being laughed at when it comes to judicial system. All criminals either get out of bail too soon, siphon off their monies outside the country or if in jail, live on tax-payers money for year and years.

'Let Law take its own course' - is the most shameful statement being used today in India. What it means is that 'Shut up for next 20 years'.  The way it stands today in India is you can rest assured that you can get away with serious crimes like Murder, Rape because there are no fast, speedy trials.

Let me give an example of NetVision maninagar section 138 case where Samir Kapadia  of Dhruv Computers gave cheques of Rs. 5 lakhs that did not pass out. With not having intent to pay the cheques he said that his Dad Mr. Jitendra Kapadia had good connections with SBI Bank and nothing could happen. Mr. Govindbhai Nagar - SBI Amraiwadi Bank Manager forged documents, destroyed original partnership deed, replaced with new one, had fake stop payment letters in bank records to confuse the proceedings.

It is over 10 years and with many many RTI applications, things are finally coming to light that SBI Manager was involved.  But court hearings and delays have created hurdles as bank managers get transferred and don't show up in hearings.

With delayed justice one can easily change the course and the culprits can get away easily. In the entire matter for instance, Samir Kapadia of Dhruv Computers have hardly been brought to court. You have documented evidence of forgery, insufficient funds and bank involvement, it has taken 10 years and matter is still in court.

In Corporate/business world, it is even worse.Employees breaching contracts and disappearing from offices without notice, employees stealing data, companies poaching employees, employees and companies infringing on your Intellectual Property Rights, Sexual Harassment/molestation by peers, not having equal opportunity for man/woman, etc All of the above is grossly wrong and if any foreign investor has gone through the legal suit in India with him being on the right side, he would never look at India again - no matter what growth story India has.

If our Police was more active, agile and have more powers, many cases would be solved before going to courts. Policemen are not trustworthy and hence most cases get transferred to courts.

Govt has to seriously look at appointing lot many judges and fast track courts for speedy disposal of cases.

What is the best way to improve legal system in India?

Podcast category: Government Policy

This is not specific to Gujarat but a central government policy which has created a ruckus and is majorly responsible for major scandals in India. Is caste reservation system fueling corruption in india?

What was the intention of government when they put reservation system in place?
 - Social Equality to remove imbalance between rich and poor
 - Give employment opportunities to people on scheduled caste
 - Motivation for rural people and backward class people to get good jobs and compete with others

What is the end result of reservation system?
  - Stories of doctors leaving surgical equipment in patient bodies
  - Policemen on roadside catching people, pocketing money without receipts
  - Ministers and Govt babus taking bribes across India
  - Judicial System paralyzed
  - Bounced cheques and ever growing scams
  - The list can go into thousands...
The root cause in majority of these is scheduled caste/schedule caste resource who got in the system because of reservation and has broken all rules for personal gains. He didn't study hard, he didn't have to compete like others to get a key position. Since he/she got in with poor academics and had never got right education, he has started creating a mess in the system..

What is the solution?

- Stop the reservation system immediately and replace it with free skill development.
- Give free education
- Give free books
- Give free food
DO NOT RESERVE POSITIONS FOR THEM. LET THEM COMPETE WITH OTHERS. Poll Question:What is the next best option to caste reservation system in India?
